About Ricky

Meet Ricky, a wonderful German Shepherd Dog looking for a new home after some changes in his previous family. At around two years old, this lovely boy listens well and has a protective streak typical of his breed, making him ideally suited for an experienced adopter. Ricky can be selective about his introductions to strangers, so patience is key. He thrives in a household with other dogs and does well with cats, but prefers female canine companions where introductions can be managed slowly. Ricky enjoys playing fetch, going for car rides, taking daily walks, and lounging on the couch for some belly rubs. A basic manners class would really benefit him, and training sessions with a certified trainer are available for his new home. Ricky is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
