Meet Rosie — it’s her time now! Currently in Bethpage, NY, Rosie is a 4-5 year old Lab/Hound mix who has spent far too long waiting for her perfect home. Originally found wandering a mobile home park in Louisiana, Rosie had no one to claim her. She faced heartbreaking challenges including multiple litters, with none of her puppies surviving. When she was brought into rescue, she was pregnant again and went on to have nine healthy puppies, all of whom have since found homes. Now, it’s Rosie’s turn to receive the love she deserves. After being with her Louisiana partner since January, she has stolen the hearts of everyone she meets. Rosie is sweet, social, well-mannered, and easygoing. She adores people of all ages and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Her house manners are impeccable, making her the ideal companion. Plus, she’s spayed, has completed heartworm treatment, and is good to go! Though she may not fit the typical Lab stereotype, Rosie embodies the gentle and loving spirit that we all cherish about Labs. She is currently fostered in Louisiana and would love to either have a Northern foster or, even better, a forever home. After everything Rosie has endured, isn’t it time someone finally chose her?
