Spunky
AvailableSpunky is a young female cat, just shy of one year old, with a medium build and a short coat. She's spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. This sweet tabby and domestic short hair mix lives in Greensboro, NC, and is fully litter trained. Spunky is looking for a loving home where she can continue to feel safe and cherished.
About Spunky
Spunky showed up on her foster parents' porch one morning in May, looking thin and hungry. Despite the neighborhood rules, they decided to feed her, and she returned frequently, only to discover she had a litter of kittens. After her spay procedure, where it was revealed she was still nursing, they tried to help her and her kittens. In early June, a rainstorm drove them from their hiding spot, leading to their capture and care. Born around November 2025, this young mom has been a dedicated caretaker, keeping her kittens clean and well-fed. Spunky is an affectionate and petite cat, perfectly litter box trained, and she gets along well with other adult cats. Although she's still learning to trust new people, she enjoys her foster mom's affection and is starting to warm up to her foster dad. Catnip is her favorite indulgence, and she loves lounging in window sills. Spunky doesn't need to be adopted with her kittens, though she'd be fine either way. Her ideal home provides sunny spots, plenty of meals, and attention, along with a calm atmosphere for her to build her confidence and trust. She hasnβt been around children or dogs yet, but indications suggest she would adapt well to them. Spunky is spayed, fully vaccinated, and now ready to find her forever family.
