Meet Mia! She’s a remarkable mixed breed dog freshly arrived from Armenia, and she’s ready to embrace her new life in Bend, Oregon. Mia is part of a special group of dogs making this journey, and after overcoming a challenging past, she is prepared to find a forever home. Mia has a calm and gentle demeanor, making her the largest of her pack. She enjoys close affection, welcoming belly rubs, and stays close to her loved ones as she walks at her own pace. Despite her size, she’s friendly with both people and dogs and adapts wonderfully on a leash. Mia’s early life was filled with hardships, including surviving parvovirus and enduring the harsh winter in Armenia. Now healthy and robust, she’s looking forward to finding that warm, loving family she deserves. As she begins to settle into her new surroundings in Oregon, patience and understanding will enable her to adjust. It’s a rewarding experience to witness her transformation as she gains confidence. Her adoption includes wellness checks, vaccinations, microchipping, and a spay/neuter procedure before going home.
