Prima is ready for a fresh start after coming from a crowded living situation. Everything about a traditional home will be brand new for her, so she’ll need a patient family to help her adjust. Housebreaking, learning to play with toys, asking for pets, and walking on a leash are all skills she will develop with guidance. New sounds and quick movements can startle her, making it important that she takes things at her own pace. Having a confident resident dog could greatly assist her in realizing that humans can be trusted. An enriched environment with understanding owners will help her thrive. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Visits to the shelter during open hours are welcome, but if you have an existing dog, consider bringing it along for a meet-and-greet.
