About Artemis

Artemis is a sweet and shy black female cat weighing in at seven pounds and just 18 months old, seeking a loving home. Rescued from the campus of Misericordia in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, she recently lost her six kittens to adoption, and now it's her turn for a forever family. This affectionate cat has a gentle demeanor and gets along well with other female cats, although she can feel intimidated by larger males. Patience is key, as Artemis is shy around humans but gradually opens up with tenderness and time. She enjoys playful moments, especially with balled-up pieces of paper, making her a fun companion as she learns to trust. Up to date on her vaccinations and soon to be spayed, Artemis is both healthy and house trained. Her adoption fee is $175, which includes a supply of her favorite foods. She’s being fostered in the Rogers Park area and is waiting for the right guardian to help her blossom. Ready to give Artemis the loving home she deserves? Click apply to start the adoption process.
