About Leandra

Leandra is a charming 5-year-old tabby, gracefully adapting from a life outdoors to the comforts of indoor living. Originally part of a TNR initiative, she now enjoys predictable feeding times and a cozy climate-controlled setting, leaving behind the dangers of the outside world. Though currently in our feral room, she has shown a willingness to connect with humans on her own terms. When she feels at ease, Leandra will affectionately rub against you, signaling her openness. However, she's not a typical lap cat; her approach to seeking affection is distinct and deserves respect. A home without children or elderly individuals would suit her best, as she can be a bit unpredictable. One moment she may be sweetly nuzzling your leg, and the next, she may swat if she feels threatened. It's important to allow her to choose when and how she engages. If approached from a height, she might feel cornered, but on the floor, she becomes much more relaxed and cuddly. Leandra is looking for a patient, cat-savvy adopter who can appreciate her boundaries and learn her cues. If you're ready to give her the time she needs to acclimate, she could become a wonderful companion. Come meet Leandra during our adoption hours: Saturdays: 10 AM – 1 PM Sundays: 4 PM – 6 PM 197 Middle Rd., Acushnet, MA 02743. Your new best friend is just one click away.
