December
AvailableDecember is a loving 3-year-old male Siberian Husky mix, weighing in as a large dog. His striking black and white coat is medium-length and he is house-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, he is ready to find his forever home.
About December
December arrived at our care from the county shelter, alongside his brother, Finral. Both faced a tough situation, landing on the euthanasia list due to fearfulness, which isn’t surprising given they spent their entire lives in a single home. Shelters can be overwhelming places for sensitive dogs like December. Thankfully, once he settled into a loving foster home, his bright personality started to show. A medium-energy guy, December enjoys playtime, whether it’s chasing after his favorite toy monkey or running with other dogs. When he’s not being playful, you’ll find him snuggled up to his people; he loves being around his family. He’s crate-trained and walks nicely on a leash. Enjoying strolls around the neighborhood and trips to the dog park, he thrives in social settings with large, friendly dogs. Although he has some separation anxiety, he responds well to gentle redirection with treats or a squeaky toy. Introducing him to new dogs in the home should be done slowly to ease any initial excitement; once he’s settled, he integrates well with other canine companions. He is adaptable to various household types, whether active or more laid back, and is good with children, though he hasn’t been tested with cats. December is a gentle soul who would make a wonderful addition to your family. Ready to meet this sweet boy? Click apply to start the adoption process.
