About Jojo

Jojo is a senior male cat who embodies calmness and low-key companionship. He prefers being the only pet in a quiet home, having never lived with other animals. Jojo is undemanding; his ideal day involves finding a warm spot to rest, enjoying a predictable routine, and receiving some gentle affection. He has FHV (Feline Herpes Virus), but it doesn’t affect his spirited nature and is only contagious to other cats. At his stage in life, he's also beginning to experience early kidney disease, so an adopter should be prepared to manage regular vet visits to keep an eye on his health. Jojo is an easygoing guy who simply wants a comfortable place to call home. If you're searching for a mellow, independent cat who thrived in a stable, low-stress environment, Jojo might be a great match for you! He is currently in a temporary foster home, so please reach out to the Second Chance Animal Shelter Inc. at 508-867-5525 or email fostering@secondchanceanimals.org for further details or to set up a meet & greet!
