Cowboy is a delightful dog found as a stray in George County, MS. Estimated to be around 3-4 years old, he clearly has a history as an inside dog, displaying good manners by knowing commands like sit and walking nicely on a leash. He is house trained and has shown no signs of aggression at the rescue, allowing staff to handle his paws and clip his nails without a fuss. Cowboy is adaptable, polite, and gets along well with other dogs, happily participating in daily playgroups. This friendly pup is eager to please and would likely fit into any household smoothly. Currently at Rise & Shine Animal Rescue in Lucedale, Mississippi, Cowboy will be available for adoption on our September 18th transport. He can be picked up at locations in Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; and several others. Adopters wanting to meet Cowboy in person are always welcome to visit him directly. Your adoption will include Cowboy being spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations, along with a health certificate and other perks to make him ready for his new home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
