About Opal

Opal is a tiny warrior wrapped in the softest, sweetest soul. After battling parvo for over a week in the hospital, she emerged stronger, ready to explore the world again—albeit at her own gentle pace. This mellow little pup longs for connection, though eye contact can feel overwhelming. You'll see her peek at you, glance away, then try again. Each brave attempt she makes is a precious victory. Now that she's feeling better, Opal has discovered the joys of food and soft, squeaky toys. Remarkably, she is the cleanest puppy her foster has cared for. While she's still mastering potty training, she does very well with potty pads. Opal isn't fond of baths, but she loves donning her soft, fuzzy pajamas—especially when the air conditioning gets a bit chilly. A true comfort-seeker, she's looking for a patient and gentle home that celebrates tiny victories and understands her gradual journey to bravery. With a nurturing environment, Opal will blossom beautifully, taking each step forward at her own pace. Click apply to start the adoption process.
