About Max
Max is a sweet and friendly boy looking for his forever home. Brought in as an owner surrender, he’s just over 1.5 years old and weighs around 90 lbs, but he’s expected to grow to over 100 lbs. This sleek Anatolian Shepherd mix brings a tall and slender frame, making him capable of accessing things smaller dogs can’t. Max knows some basic commands, though he would benefit from additional training to improve his manners and leash skills. Having spent most of his life outdoors, he hasn’t yet mastered housetraining. He gets along well with other friendly dogs, but he needs to live in a cat-free home. While he hasn't been around young children, he has shown great behavior with teens. Given his size and playful nature, he may unintentionally knock over smaller kids out of excitement. Max is not neutered yet but has an appointment scheduled for September 15th. He’s already vaccinated and microchipped, eager to meet a loving family! This could be the start of something paw-some.
