About Moose

Moose is a charming mixed breed dog who has amazed everyone with his resilience. Originally deemed a hospice patient due to a serious soft tissue sarcoma, he surprised his caregivers when scans revealed he is cancer-free! Now, he’s ready to find a loving home. This golden-colored fella has an outgoing personality and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He’s excellent on the leash, making walks a pleasure, and is great with cats and some dogs, especially in relaxed settings. However, he needs a safety-conscious family. Moose experiences panic during thunderstorms and has a knack for escaping, so a secure home environment is essential. He cannot be crated as he’s determined enough to potentially injure himself trying to escape. While he’s not destructive, it’s advisable to supervise him, particularly during stormy weather. Moose comes when called and looks to his humans for direction, eager to please. If you think you can provide the stability and love he deserves, reach out. Are you ready to welcome Moose into your heart?
