About Falcon

Meet Falcon, a big-hearted boy rocking 80 pounds of love and goofiness! He's looking for a special home that can appreciate his soulful eyes and unique personality. A bit of his past includes being part of a cruelty case in 2025, so he'll need a patient family who understands his need for time and comfort. Falcon is not a first-come, first-served kind of pup; his potential adopters will need to spend time with him before taking him home. New people can be a bit scary for Falcon, so he’s searching for someone who will be his advocate during tough moments. He's also been on medication for the past nine months to help manage his anxiety and will need to continue this after adoption. Therefore, an adopter with an established vet is a must. Falcon would thrive in a home with older kids—16 years or older—and he prefers to transition with a canine companion to help guide him. If you think you could be the right fit for Falcon, we recommend visiting the shelter to meet him and possibly bring your own dog along for a meet-and-greet. Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control will ensure that Falcon finds the perfect match. Thank you for considering giving this sweet boy a second chance!
