Meet Harry! This spirited two-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and Labrador Retriever mix is currently living in Amherst, MA. He boasts a handsome black tuxedo coat accented with charming white paws. Weighing around 60 pounds, Harry is an outgoing and intelligent boy who thrives on adventure. His mornings kick off with breakfast, training sessions, and plenty of opportunities to stretch his legs. Harry loves walks, runs, dog park visits, and even enjoys wrestling in the grass. Fetching balls and collecting sticks add to his list of favorite activities. Having completed the Puppy Raising program at Wags and Wiggles, Harry is now enrolled in Training for Life and has already earned three levels of AKC Trick Dog certifications! With commands like sit, stay, and fetch in his repertoire, he shows great potential to further his training through positive reinforcement. Harry is friendly with strangers and enjoys meeting new people. He can comfortably spend up to eight hours alone and shows no signs of separation anxiety. While he is generally neutral with other dogs, he loves a good chase or wrestling match when the mood strikes. He has been curious around a neighbor’s cat but has not lived with one. Though he’s active, he also enjoys snuggling and being part of family life. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, this healthy pup is also quite the foodie, appreciating chicken, peanut butter, and berries among other tasty treats.
