About Blue
Meet Blue, your cuddly, zoomie-loving squirrel hunter! Almost 2 years old, this Shih-Tzu mix has a playful spirit and a few quirky habits that make him unique. Blue loves to eat, and when food is served, it disappears in no time. Interestingly, he isn't a fan of treats, so don’t expect to bribe him with snacks. When he's not munching, Blue enjoys the company of his people, relishing belly rubs and even rubbing his back on the floor, grass, or cement for some added fun. He handles bath time surprisingly well, which is always a plus! While he doesn't bark much, he takes his squirrel-hunting duties seriously, silently chasing any that catch his attention, even if he’s not very successful. Blue plays well with other dogs and loves tug-of-war, though he sometimes gets a little carried away. He enjoys chasing his canine pals, especially if they’re smaller and easygoing. Blue is potty-trained, dog-door trained, and crate trained. He’s good with other dogs, largely indifferent to cats, and walks fairly well on a leash, though he still has some room to improve. Car rides, however, aren’t his favorite, so his new family will need to help him feel more comfortable with travel. This sweet boy enjoys companionship, belly rubs, exploration, and lots of cuddle time. If a lovable Shih-Tzu mix with a playful side and a hilarious (if unsuccessful) squirrel-chasing hobby sounds like the right fit, then Blue just might be your guy! Ready to meet your new best friend?
