About Ranger
Meet Ranger! Ranger is a sweet, smiley guy with a big heart. Weighing in at 85 pounds, he’s convinced he’s the perfect size to be a lap dog! This lovable companion would happily spend his days close to you, soaking up attention and showing off his charming personality. He has a playful side and loves his toys, plus he’s a smart boy with a host of training skills. Ranger walks best with a gentle-leader-style halter, which helps him enjoy his walks with ease. Once the halter is off, he takes his time sniffing and exploring his surroundings. With medium energy, Ranger loves a good walk or play session but also knows when to settle down and relax. He’s looking for a home where he can be the only pet, ideally without children. Meeting new people may require some time and patience; he might bark when he first meets unfamiliar men, but he can build trust with the right approach and tasty treats. Ranger has been diagnosed with Lyme disease and plantar fasciitis, which can cause occasional limping. Thankfully, these health issues are manageable, and he participates in weekly physical therapy exercises to stay comfortable. Around 4 years old, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and microchipped, Ranger’s adoption fee of $300 includes two private training sessions to help him adjust to his new home. He may need a little extra patience, but he has so much love to give. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, and smart companion who will be right by your side, Ranger might just be your guy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
