About Captain Archer

Meet Captain Archer, a fluffy Shih Tzu mix eagerly awaiting his forever family. At about 1 to 2 years old, he's already showing his playful side and has proven to be great with other dogs and cats. He's also a good match for older kids ages 10 and up, though his experience with younger children is limited. Captain Archer could use a bit of TLC, as he’s sporting a shaggy coat that’s in need of a trim. Underneath all that fluff is a handsome little guy just waiting to shine. He will undergo vetting before adoption to ensure he’s in tip-top shape. Currently, Captain Archer needs a foster home where he can prepare for the next chapter. If you’re interested in opening your home to him, please reach out for a foster application. Journey Home Rescue takes care of transport for approved adopters throughout the Pacific Northwest. Captain Archer has personality to spare and just needs someone to embark on this journey with him. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
