About Munchkin URGENT
Munchkin is in urgent need of a new home. This 8-year-old Pittie has a minor, temporary illness and is facing a ticking clock. He has just 24 hours to find a rescue, foster, or forever home, or he risks being placed on the euthanasia list. Currently held at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter, Munchkin has been there since August 26, 2028, and is looking for someone to give him a second chance. Heβs a medium-sized male with a beautiful short coat in shades of gray, blue, and silver. As a dog with a gentle spirit, he deserves to be in a loving environment rather than the confines of a shelter. If you can offer him a safe place to land, he would be forever grateful. Adoption through the Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is encouraged, as they partner with the shelter to help at-risk dogs like Munchkin find homes. If youβre in Kern County and can help foster, please reach out. Remember, Munchkin needs you now more than ever! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and letβs get started.
