Kilo is a delightful love bug and an affectionate companion. He can be a bit timid at times, occasionally barking at unusual sights, but he quickly adapts and investigates what's happening around him. When meeting new people, especially men, he benefits from calm and structured introductions. It seems he feels more comfortable with women, and this hesitation might relate to his past experiences. Kilo came to us through our shelter bypass program after being surrendered. A social soul, he gets along wonderfully with dogs, regardless of their size or temperament. Whether they're playful or a bit reactive, Kilo knows how to navigate these interactions, often giving space or gentle corrections. His love of affection is apparent, as he adores scratches, hugs, and kisses—and he won’t hesitate to ask for them. Here are some important notes for Kilo's future family: - He has skin allergies and requires medicated or sensitive shampoo. - Previous interactions with children were limited to an older teenager, so a home without young kids might be best. - He may bark at men approaching too quickly, showcasing his cautious nature. - Kilo is eager to please and extremely food motivated; he might bark to express his dinner excitement. This boy enjoys playing with toys, is great at fetch, walks well on a leash, and understands basic commands like sit, paw, and wait. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
