After spending the last four years in a home, he recently returned to Boone Area Humane Society when his family made the tough decision to return him. The loss of his canine companion has been hard on him, manifesting in some barking due to the confusing circumstances. Nevertheless, this little dog has an abundance of love left to give. He adores people, exuding affection and gentleness. Guito is at his happiest when close to his humans. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for him, and we would love to see him find a comforting home soon. Guito seeks a family that understands life’s changes, willing to offer him patience, stability, and love. In return, he will reward you with endless affection and loyal companionship.
