About Miso
Meet Miso. Miso is a 4-month-old black-and-white kitten with a gentle soul and a sweet face. Unlike some bold kittens, heโs a bit shy and may not rush to greet you, but heโs a gem waiting to shine with the right person. Coming from a challenging background, Miso needs time to adjust. When he was just a few months old, he faced a major upheaval when abandoned with several other cats. This left him wary of people, and his instinct is often to retreat when approached. However, Miso is not aggressive at all; he simply needs patience and encouragement to overcome his fears. We believe that with love and a little understanding, Miso will blossom into a wonderful companion. A home with another friendly cat could work wonders for him, helping him feel secure and guiding him through the learning process of trusting humans. Misoโs ideal adopter would be someone who appreciates the small milestones, like the first time he stays in the room when you walk in, accepts treats from your hand, or even rubs against you. If you want an instant lap kitten, Miso isn't ready for that just yet. But if you're prepared to help this timid little one grow into a confident, loving companion, he could provide an incredibly rewarding journey. Miso has already been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites. He is currently at our adoption center located inside PetSmart in Northeast Philadelphia at 7422 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152. Think you are the one? Submit an application today!
