About Carlie
Meet Carlie! Carlie is a spirited 4-month-old Pekingese/Miniature Poodle mix, weighing in at just 6 pounds. This adorable puppy is full of curiosity and ready to explore, ensuring each day is an exciting adventure. She needs a family committed to puppyhood, one that can provide her with consistent training and plenty of exercise. With positive reinforcement, Carlie will develop into a well-mannered companion. Ongoing socialization with people and other dogs will be crucial for her confidence and overall development. Currently, Carlie has not been tested with other dogs due to her recovery from surgery, but a dog-to-dog introduction is planned once she is fully healed. It's important for her future adopter to understand that she has medical needs that require discussion with an adoption counselor. Ideally, her new home should be in-state to ensure her dental care can be properly monitored and addressed moving forward. If youβre ready to invest the love and attention that a growing puppy requires, Carlie is eager to be your adventurous partner and loyal friend. Please note that an in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help determine if Carlie is the right match for you. Your journey with Carlie starts here!
