Meet Togo, a survivor with a heart as big as Texas, still believing in love. Togo's journey began on the hard streets of Texas, where he roamed as a stray, struggling to survive. Rescued by animal control, he thought he found safety, but landed in a high-kill shelter, where his future seemed bleak. Yet Togo’s spirit remained unbroken. Now three years old and around 60 pounds, Togo is a stunning and fun-loving boy who greets every day with joy and hope. He is playful, sweet, and full of life, proving that even the hardest beginnings can’t dim a good dog’s heart. Togo adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and simply wants to be near his humans. He walks nicely on a leash, appears to be house-trained, and is kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to any loving home. Togo thrives on activity and would be happiest with a family that enjoys running, jumping, and playing together. After an adventurous day, he’s all about the cuddles, soaking up the affection that he’s long deserved. Togo was tested with a cat and did beautifully. The adoption fee is $350, which covers transport to the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest. Togo survived when so many never got the chance. Now, he’s hoping for a family of his own.
