Meet Eleanor, a delightful Mixed Breed girl who is around 9-10 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. This affectionate pup arrived as a stray, hoping to find the loving home she deserves. Eleanor is friendly and enjoys meeting new people, though she can be a bit timid in unfamiliar settings. With some encouragement and positive interactions, she's gaining confidence daily. Like any young dog, she still has her puppy energy and is learning her manners, including managing her excitement. With consistent training, she will continue to blossom. Eleanor loves to zoom around the yard and is fond of squeaky toys. She already knows how to “sit” and takes treats politely, showing she’s eager to please. This loving girl thrives on attention and affection. She would benefit from a home with another dog, particularly one that is confident and can help her navigate her new environment. Eleanor has been quite playful with other dogs and could also fit in with a cat, given proper introductions. She will do best in a household with children aged 10 and older. Eleanor is currently available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, allowing her to settle into her new home while waiting for her spay procedure.
