Midge is a 12-year-old senior Rat Terrier, possibly with a bit of Chihuahua, exuding cuteness and affection. She's playful and enjoys romping around with her small-dog pals, though nothing beats curling up beside her humans for some cozy snuggles and naps. Midge is surprisingly sharp; she learned the layout of her foster home in just a few days and navigates confidently, adapting beautifully to her life without vision. She's house trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. Content in her crate, she’s demonstrated incredible resilience. When she arrived at the rescue, Midge had a rough start—shaved and covered with flea bites, she needed to shed a few pounds. Now at a healthier weight, her white-and-black coat is regrowing soft and beautiful. Midge reminds us that even those who've faced significant hardships can embrace life joyfully.
