Meet Sasha! This beautiful girl found herself at a high-kill shelter in Houston, and when her time was up, a wonderful foster stepped in to save her. Now, she's thriving in a loving environment. Sasha, an energetic young husky mix, is around a year old and weighs approximately 45 lbs. She loves playing in the yard, enjoys walks, and gets along well with her foster dog siblings. However, she might need a playmate who can match her energy; a low-energy dog might not appreciate her playful spirit. She can get a bit overstimulated in new situations, so a family willing to focus on her training would be ideal. On the bright side, Sasha is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn, making training time lots of fun. She's potty trained and familiar with basic commands like sit, lie down, and wait. You'll find that she’s a great car companion, often deemed one of the best shotgun riders.
