Meet Sasha! This beautiful gal found herself at a high-kill shelter in Houston, but thanks to an amazing foster, she got a second chance. Now she’s safe, thriving, and soaking up all the love she deserves. Sasha embodies the spirited nature of a husky. At about 1 year old and weighing around 45 lbs, she’s full of energy and enjoys romping in the yard and playful antics with her foster siblings. While she’d love another friendly dog in her new home, families with older or more laid-back dogs might need to consider her exuberance. She can get extra excited in new environments, so a family ready to work on her training would be ideal. On the bright side, Sasha is smart and loves to engage, making training sessions enjoyable. She is house trained and crate trained, though she prefers the comforts of a cozy couch over the kennel. Sasha has been great with kids and gets along well with people, but her excitement may mean she'd best fit in a home with older children who understand her energy. She has a bit of a vocal personality, often reminding everyone she’s around—especially when it’s time for her outdoor adventures!
