About Solstice

Meet Solstice, a gentle soul seeking a forever home. Despite her rough start in life, she radiates sweetness and love. Recently arriving with her eight puppies, she is now heartworm positive but on her way to recovery. Solstice can be shy around new people but has a strong desire to connect with everyone she meets, and most dogs as well. She does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is best for her. Solstice thrives in a quiet environment with a steady routine, but once comfortable, she shows her playful side and enjoys car rides, albeit a little nervously. This affectionate girl needs a patient hand to help her blossom into the amazing dog she is meant to be. The right family is out there for Solstice, and she’s excited to meet them! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
