Kristina is a joyful, 2-year-old hound mix with a cheerful spirit and a delightful gallop. Weighing in at 37 pounds, she embodies the friendliness and curiosity often found in hounds. Kristina is house-trained, but she gets a bit too excited sometimes and may have a little pee moment. She’s crate-trained and appreciates having a cozy den to retreat to. Kristina gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, having lived harmoniously with four small and one large foster sibling. While she hasn’t been tested around young kids yet, her gentle personality suggests she would do well with respectful children. This sweet girl might be a little timid around strangers initially, but she warms up quickly, especially to women and with the help of some tasty treats. Kristina loves her toys and enjoys playing and exploring while also being a champion sleeper. She’s learning leash skills and improving daily. On top of her playful nature, Kristina has an old, remodeled hip fracture but shows no signs of discomfort. She’s currently undergoing treatment for a previous health issue but remains active and happy. Kristina is eager to please and ready to find her forever family. Will that family be with you?
