Evie is a three-year-old female French Bulldog who lost her owner when she went into a nursing home and could no longer care for her. This gorgeous dark black brindle girl weighs about 18 pounds. House trained and crate trained, Evie has cohabited with other dogs. She has had zero exposure to cats, but we believe she would likely tolerate them. Currently, she’s quite dissatisfied with shelter life, showing the typical Frenchie spirit—active and jolly, eager to engage in everything. Despite her high energy, she also possesses a nice off switch, easily settling down when it’s time to relax. Evie needs a home experienced with French Bulldogs, as they have specific needs that an informed owner can manage. A bit of training and clear boundaries will go a long way for her, as she may have been a tad spoiled in her previous life. While she enjoys attention, she can be a little demanding at times, as is common for the breed. It’s essential for her new family to guide her diva tendencies.
