About Louie
Meet Louie! Louie is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a stunning brindle coat and a playful spirit. Weighing 58 pounds, he’s an energetic guy who lights up with joy whenever someone walks through the door. Louie is great with children and strangers alike, embodying a friendly charm that welcomes everyone. He’s also good with other dogs and enjoyed the company of his furry pals, although he has yet to meet a cat. This smart, food-driven dog has already completed a puppy training program and is eager for more learning opportunities. Louie thrives on activities that keep his active mind and body engaged, whether it’s running, hiking, or consistent training sessions. He needs a family who can match his zest for life and provide ample exercise and mental stimulation. In return, he’ll be a devoted and loving companion. Neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, Louie is ready for a new home. His previous family adored him but, due to work and allergies, couldn’t give him the attention he deserves. If you think you could be the perfect fit for Louie, please complete our adoption application as soon as possible! The adoption fee of $150 includes his spay/neuter, microchip, necessary vaccinations, and heartworm treatment. We prioritize our animals and do home visits as part of the adoption process, so we aren't able to adopt outside the Chicago area. Thank you for understanding!
