About Chief

Chief is a sweet Shepherd mix looking for a new home. He was adopted in 2021 but now needs a quieter environment to thrive. At around 5 years old and weighing about 60 pounds, he loves his family and gets along well with other dogs, including small ones. However, he feels anxious around young children, especially when they visit. Chief tends to become protective of his belongings, particularly his bed, when the grandkids are running around. He would do best in a calm home with a fully fenced yard, where someone is often around to provide a stable environment. Chief is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. His adoption fee is waived, but we're looking for a suitable match. Experience with Shepherds is preferred to help him adjust well. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
