About Cheddar

Cheddar is a charming Lab Mix who found his way to us from Sumter County Animal Control. After just a few days in foster care, he's made remarkable progress. Initially hesitant about life indoors, he would bark at new sounds like the TV and icemaker. But, in true Labrador fashion, he's incredibly sweet, eager to please, and food motivated—he's already mastered 'sit' and 'down'. At 10 months old and weighing 55 pounds, Cheddar is still gaining weight and needs a bit of TLC. He loves children and is friendly with dogs, making him a great family addition. Already house trained and crate trained, he may cry a little at first but quickly calms down. With a fun-loving personality, he's looking to his foster for guidance and is ready to be the good boy you've been searching for. Cheddar is heartworm negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. If Cheddar sounds like the right fit for you, visit our website and complete an application.
