About Swiss
Meet Swiss, a delightful little guy looking for his forever home. He and his brother Colby were rescued from an animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now happily at a foster home in Chicago. Swiss is a sweet, playful pup well on his way to becoming a fantastic companion. His adorable mix makes him look like a giant Boston Terrier or a miniature Boxer, embodying the best traits from both breeds. At only 8 months old and weighing around 35 pounds, Swiss is a perfect medium-sized dog for everything from city living to suburban adventures. He can be a bit bashful at first, but a few gentle words or tasty treats will turn his curious nature into a fast friendship. Energetic and eager to explore, he thrives in active households that provide mental and physical exercise. Swiss enjoys walks, playtime with other dogs, and the simple joy of sunbathing on the porch. He is crate trained and doing well with housebreaking, but he still needs consistency and a little extra guidance to smooth out the edges. Training is a breeze with Swiss; he’s smart, food-motivated, and quick to learn given the right encouragement. Swiss is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, ready for the next chapter in his life.
