About Yuca
Meet Yuca! This sweet, gentle girl is on a journey to find her forever home. Yuca is quite shy, particularly around new people and animals. When she feels nervous, she tends to find a cozy spot where she can observe from a safe distance. With the right patience, you'll discover a completely different side of her—one that's curious, playful, and affectionate, especially when exploring the outdoors. Currently, Yuca is thriving with crate training and feels comfortable in her crate. She’s making good strides with her leash walking, though she still needs some practice. Yuca is also working on being fully potty trained, so her new family should be committed to continuing that training with patience and consistency. Yuca would thrive with an understanding adopter who recognizes her slow-to-warm-up nature. She'll need time to build trust but is absolutely worth the effort. If you believe you can provide Yuca with the safe and loving environment she needs, reach out to find out more!
