About Laela

Meet Laela, a sweet and loving girl ready to find her forever home. At around 30 pounds, she is a delightful mix of Chihuahua with a gorgeous short coat in black and white/cream. Laela’s journey began in the woods where she was found alone and heavily pregnant. After giving birth to six healthy puppies, all of whom have since found their homes, it’s now Laela's turn to be the center of someone's world. Laela thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone can be around most of the day—ideal for retirees, work-from-home individuals, or stay-at-home parents. While she's fostered around other dogs, Laela would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, soaking up all the love and attention. Fully potty trained and crate trained, Laela sleeps well in her crate at night. She's still learning to fully embrace her doggy life, enjoying playtime and building her confidence. Although leash walking needs some work, she’s progressing well. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue, her future family can focus on showering her with all the love she deserves.
