Meet Laela! This sweet and loving 2-year-old girl is a medium-sized Chihuahua mix, weighing around 30 pounds. She’s looking for a forever home where she can be at the center of someone’s world. Laela's journey began when she was found abandoned in the woods, heavily pregnant, and alone. After being rescued, she lovingly nurtured her six puppies, all of whom have found their own homes. Now, it's her turn to find a family that will cherish her. Laela thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, perhaps with a retiree, a stay-at-home parent, or someone working from home. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, Laela would prefer to be the only pup in her new home; she’s ready for the love and attention all to herself. This affectionate girl is fully potty trained and crate trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. She’s just starting to learn how to play and continues to gain confidence in her new life. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, Laela’s medical care is covered by Mutts N Such Rescue, allowing her future family to focus on giving her the love she deserves.
