About Sun
Meet Sun! Sun is a one-year-old, 55-pound spayed female hound mix eager to leave her tough past behind and embrace life. Rescued while abandoned in an apartment with her nine puppies, she has shown remarkable resilience, learning to trust and enjoy being a dog. Potty trained and great on a leash, Sun loves car rides and outdoor adventures. She enjoys playing and exploring, always wanting to stay close to her person. As she's adjusting, she’s already shown she gets along well with kids and has met some other dogs. Although still gaining experience with fellow canines, we believe with more positive socialization, she can become the social butterfly she’s meant to be. In her foster home, Sun has blossomed, learning what it means to be a true companion. She needs a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and teach her about love and safety. Sun is microchipped and current on her vaccinations, ready to start a new chapter with a loving family. Her adoption fee is $250, and she's being fostered in Sarasota, FL. Sun has spent enough time just surviving. Now, it’s her turn to shine. Could you be the person who helps her do just that? Make her journey extraordinary—apply to adopt!
