Athena, affectionately known as Sweet Pea, was found wandering in a busy road and is believed to be around 10 months to 1 year old. She weighs approximately 43 lbs and has been recently spayed, and is fully vaccinated with all necessary flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Athena is currently recovering from her spay but is already crate-trained and house-trained. This girl is incredibly intelligent and has a playful spirit. She can entertain herself with a KONG ball and enjoys relaxing in a sit/stay position. With a love for water, she's enthusiastic about ponds or pools of any size. Although she hasn't met many dogs, she previously enjoyed playtime with a large furry female companion. Athena would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and ideally with children aged 12 and older. The folks at The Doghouse Collective have learned a lot about her playful nature, and they are eager to find her a foster family or a forever home.
