Stevie adores her people and loves being close, whether it's lounging by your side or giving one of her famous "hugs." She’s friendly with newcomers too—her adorable habit of nuzzling into your neck for attention shows just how affectionate she is. In the home, Stevie is a model guest. She's house trained and crate trained, showing great respect for her surroundings and avoiding any temptation to chew on non-dog toys. Overall, she’s quiet, knows basic commands like sit and heel, and is treat motivated. Road trips? No problem! She rides beautifully in the car. Stevie has a medium energy level and enjoys daily walks along with weekend hikes, followed by cozy couch time. When it comes to other dogs, she needs a thoughtful introduction. While she can be nervous if approached too quickly, she thrives in calm company—her current home includes two dogs she meets after gradual introductions. A calm canine sibling, particularly another laid-back female, might make a fantastic match. Given her Border Collie instincts and her enthusiastic hugging, we suggest a home with children aged 10+.
