About Genevieve

Genevieve is a gentle 1-year-old Scottish Straight who found her way to rescue from a challenging background. Previously living among 84 other cats in a hoarder situation in NYC, she initially comes off as shy and needs some time to adjust to her new surroundings. But don’t let that fool you; once she feels comfortable, she's a lively companion with a lot of personality. She loves to play, and her current favorite toy is the ribbon wand, which she eagerly chases and leaps after. Genevieve is polite and curious, often watching other friendly cats as they settle in. Her foster home has helped boost her confidence, allowing her to embrace her playful side while still being a little cautious at first. She’s ideal for someone who appreciates her Scottish breed and is committed to giving her the time she needs to flourish. Good with other cats, she’ll thrive in an environment where patience is a priority. As a purebred Scottish Straight, Genevieve has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is negative for FIV/FeLV. With love and understanding, she will make a delightful addition to a caring home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
