About Leo

Meet Leo, a charming puppy just shy of three months. He was born on the beach in Piñones Loiza, Puerto Rico, and taken to safety along with his siblings. Leo's journey to a loving home started when one of our volunteers, visiting for a concert, couldn’t resist bringing him back as her foster. While he’s a bit shy at first, Leo quickly warms up and enjoys seeking out pets and cuddles. His tiny tail wags enthusiastically, especially when he’s around his toys, which he adores. He gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings and always wants to be part of the fun, not realizing he might be smaller than them. Leo is making impressive progress with potty training and is eagerly motivated by treats, making him a quick learner. Not yet neutered and finishing up his vaccine cycle, Leo is available for foster-to-adopt. This means you can take him home now while we complete the adoption process together. We believe he might grow into a medium-sized adult, around 30-45 lbs, but size can be surprising. If you think you can give Leo the loving home he deserves, let’s get started!
