Meet Halo! This gorgeous, sweet soul is beginning to understand what love feels like. For the first two years of her life, she was chained outside, used for breeding so her previous owners could sell her pups. Thankfully, her life has taken a much better turn. Now, in her foster home, she is embracing the love and attention she deserves. Halo is good with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. We believe she will also do well with children once she feels comfortable. New people and unfamiliar situations might make her a bit anxious at first, but a few tasty treats will help her warm up quickly. Though she’s still working on potty training, her overall house manners are impressive for a dog who has recently discovered indoor living. One thing she's learned to love? Comfy dog beds! Halo needs a patient, loving family ready to help her build confidence. She requires consistency and encouragement while gently nudging her beyond her comfort zone. In the right home, Halo will blossom into an incredible companion. Halo is fostered in Burlington, WI. Applicants must be willing to commute for a meet and greet.
