About Chip
Meet Chip, a lively 6-month-old Shepherd mix with a charming smile and delightful personality. Chip's early life has been tough. He found himself on death row through no fault of his own before Barkin Dogs Rescue stepped in to give him a second chance. Right now, he’s dealing with a minor fracture and is on crate rest for a few weeks. Despite this, his spirits are high, and he's expected to heal completely soon. True to his Shepherd nature, Chip loves being close to people. Whether it’s fitting into your lap or snuggling beside you on the couch, he’s happiest when he’s near his humans. He’s an energetic pup eager to learn and has already mastered commands like sit and come, even if he hasn’t wandered too far from you yet. Thanks to Zoom Room on Metcalf, he’ll also get a free month of puppy classes to further his training with his adopter. Chip has done well with people, dogs, and cats, showcasing his friendly demeanor. While he needs to rest more now for his recovery, he enjoys lying by your feet, content just being close. This sweet and loyal puppy is all set to be a devoted companion for someone special. Adoption fee: $500. Chip will be fully vetted before adoption, including vaccinations, preventatives, microchip, and neutering. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
