Mazie is a courageous cat who’s been through a lot. After losing her owner, she found herself in a shelter and has been working hard to rebuild her trust. Despite her past, she’s slowly learning to feel safe again, and a loving, permanent home is just what she needs. Currently in foster care, Mazie has made significant progress. While she may not approach her foster directly, she watches from a distance, gradually closing that gap. With warm sunny spots to soak in and the soothing sounds of the outside world, she shows her more playful side when she feels secure. This sweet girl flourishes in a calm, low-traffic environment and will do best with an understanding human who can support her at her own pace. Mazie has lived with cats before and would thrive in a home where she is the only feline. She prefers to take her time with new experiences and needs a quiet space where she can feel comfortable. It’s worth noting that she is bonded with another cat named Max, so they will need to be adopted together.
