About Comet
Meet Comet! Comet is a 2.5–3-year-old, 50-pound Siberian Husky looking for his forever home. After being found as a stray near a hotel pool, he was picked up by our rescue and is now thriving in a foster home. Comet has been working with a trainer and has proven to be a wonderful companion. He is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained, and he displays excellent manners. Due to his vocal nature, Comet would thrive better in a home than an apartment. With a classic Husky personality, Comet has a delightful mix of energy. He enjoys outings but can also appreciate a quiet day lounging around. Just give him a cozy spot and a good bone, and he’ll happily entertain himself on his dog bed. Comet is dog friendly and enjoys socializing but prefers interactions on his own terms. He may be happiest as the only pet or with another laid-back, large dog who respects his boundaries. When he craves attention, Comet turns into an affectionate, playful pup who wants to be the center of your world. However, he’s also content to relax once he's had his fill of affection. He would thrive in a home with teens who understand his need for space at times. Comet seeks a family that appreciates his goofy charm, respects his boundaries, and provides him the exercise and enrichment he deserves. If you want a handsome Husky who can shift from playful to a charming couch companion, Comet might be the perfect match for you! Comet is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. All potential adopters will get to chat with our certified trainer for insights on his behavior and commands.
