Meet Dottie! Dottie is that kind of dog who makes you question how anyone could ever abandon her. This sweet Pit Bull mix has been through quite a lot but remains a loving and affectionate girl. Her journey with us began when we rescued her from an abandoned house right across from the Rescue. Once Dottie came into our care, her warm personality shone through. She adores people and craves attention, always eager for fun. Whether it's playtime or a walk, Dottie excels, walking beautifully on a leash. After a brief adoption, Dottie was picked up as a stray and returned to us. While it was heartbreaking, we trust that her perfect family is still out there. Dottie needs a home where she can be the only pet. We are still assessing how she gets along with other dogs, but she does not do well with cats. What Dottie really desires is simple: a safe home, a cozy bed, and a loving family who will keep her for good. She's been through enough changes; it’s time for her to settle down for life.
