Still a bit fearful, Butters needs a calm, patient home where she can progress at her own pace. Coming from a hoarding situation, she likely didn’t receive much positive human interaction before arriving at Rescue One. As she works on building her confidence, someone who celebrates her small victories without rushing her is essential. Though she's good in her crate and is familiar with puppy pads, Butters isn’t fully house trained yet. Going outside and being on a leash can be intimidating still, so she needs careful introductions to both. A securely fenced yard is a must since she could be a flight risk. Butters is starting to discover the joy of life; she enjoys playtime with other dogs and hoards her toys in her crate without damaging them.
