Meet Theodore! At just 3 months old and 22 lbs, Theodore recently made his way to Illinois from Mississippi with his brothers, Alvin and Simon. These three little guys faced significant changes early in life, being found as tiny strays and rescued from an overcrowded shelter. Thankfully, they've been given a second chance. Theodore is embracing life as a house dog, although he’s still learning the ropes. He adores people and is getting along well with a small child, as well as the cats and resident dog in his foster home. Despite his friendly demeanor, he needs some time to adjust after the abrupt changes he's suffered. With a little patience from his future family, he can truly thrive. Currently, Theodore needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home that can take things at his pace. He’s figuring out how to be a good puppy: learning potty training, crate training, and what it means to be part of a loving family. He has received his vaccinations but is not yet neutered; however, his new family will be given a voucher for that procedure. Rescued Rascals will provide supplies like food, a crate, leash, collar, toys, and treats to assist his foster family. Theodore deserves a supportive environment where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy being a puppy.
